Why isn’t diversity seen with vitamins in Canada?Hamid Abdelrhman, CEO of Canvita Canada, pondered on this question. He wanted to find halal vitamins that fit his family's needs.There were no companies in Canada creating halal vitamins. Hamid decided to use his pharmaceutical background to come up with a solution. Hence, the start of Canvita Canada. Our dream came true once we met the approval criteria of Health Canada. The certification was granted and Canvita launched to bring better health to Canadians.Finally, Canvita vitamins were manufactured right here in Canada! But our journey doesn't stop there. Now it is our goal to provide accessibility to our vitamins worldwide so everyone has access to optimal health regardless of their religious, dietary or personal beliefs!

Alberta Halal Monitoring and Certification Council is a monitoring and certification halal products body. The council has started training, guiding and helping different communities in Alberta and elsewhere to meet the halal standards.
AHMCC certifies, monitors and licenses halal products in Alberta and North America as a whole. AHMCC is a part of an overall plethora of Islamic communities in Alberta, and they undertake the task of delivering and ensuring the poultry that is consumed is 100% halal.
The trademarked AHMCC halal logos are currently expanding to monitor and certify all meat products that will market to all Muslim countries overseas. Through their rigorous process, we have received 100% halal certification for all of our products!
